We work a two-week rota so week one would be on Wednesday and Thursday followed by week two which would be a Monday and Friday. There may be an option of working overtime to help us cover staff annual leave.

Being a team player is what we ask of all our staff; you can one minute be providing personal care and the next you can be engaging in reminiscing sessions with our residents. 

 

• Preparing breakfast and distributing it to clients. 

• Cleaning The Old Vicarage if time permits.

• Checking residents regularly.

• Washing and ironing linen if time permits.

• Checking the building is locked and all windows are closed.

• Keeping a record of care for all of our residents using the Mobile Care Monitoring system (training will be provided).

• Contacting Health Care professionals as and when required.

Job Requirements

• DBS Clearance and References - The Old Vicarage pays for DBS Clearance.

• Flexibility regarding working hours.

• Weekend availability.

• Experience preferred but we are willing to train.

Benefits

• Increment of £0.10 for NVQ 2.

• Increment of £0.15 for NVQ 3.

• A bonus of £2 per hour for exceeding contracted hours.

• 20 pence per mile commuting fuel allowance for journeys over 15 miles.

• Starting bonus of £ 250 (payable after 13 weeks trial period).
