The Old Vicarage Care Home is a small, family-owned, registered, residential care home without nursing for the elderly, nestled on a quiet country lane in the village of Allithwaite in Cumbria. Ideally located within close proximity to the majestic Morecambe Bay and the breath-taking beauty of the Lake District and only 20 minutes from Junction 36 of the M6. We provide long and short term care for people who require care which may include living with dementia/aspects of confusion and/or physical frailties.

Our South Lakes care home is a beautiful Victorian house with later additions, overlooking and within easy access to Saint Mary's Church; set within a quarter of an acre of maintained, mature gardens, which include an orchard. We have sixteen rooms of which thirteen are single, three are double and six are en-suite. Our three double rooms are ideal for married couples.

We have successfully provided care for over twenty years at The Old Vicarage Care Home.
